Norwegian Hip Fracture Register

The Norwegian Hip Fracture Register started recording hip fractures nationwide in 2005. The objective is to detect poor treatment methods and poor-performing implants used in Norway as early as possible, as well as to provide knowledge about epidemiology of hip fractures. The large number of fractures and simultaneous registration of quality of life data (PROM) makes the database unique.
